I’m a gay, cis-gendered, white settler grateful to live in Toronto (Tkaronto). I’ve been lucky to serve clients with identities including queer, trans, neurodivergent (including autism and ADHD), members of the global majority, kinky, and consensually non-monogamous.
My primary therapeutic approach is currently internal family system (IFS) therapy. If you’ve ever said, “A part of me feels one way, but another part of me feels the opposite,” you’re already speaking IFS’ language. I can help you meet and accept the many parts of yourself, learn why they feel/think/behave as they do, and discover your natural ability to calm your distress and heal old hurts. Along the way, folks tend to increase their confidence, courage, and clarity through self-compassion.
I’ve worked with people dealing with emotions such as anxiety, anger, abandonment, depression, loneliness, guilt, and grief; behaviours such as perfectionism, procrastination, emotional disconnection, self-criticism, dissociation, and low self-esteem; and situations such as toxic workplaces, recent break-ups, and exploring sexuality and gender identity/expression.
